On May 14, 2026, CAOS was officially presented to the public and authorities. Over three hundred people attended to discover the laboratory. It was a celebration for the public and an opportunity to meet with the gravitational waves community. Speakers included the Rector of the University of Perugia Massimiliano Marianelli, the President of the Umbria Region Stefania Proietti, Raffaele Marras, Consultant for ET Sardinia Region, representing the President of the Sardinia Region, Alessandra Todde, the Mayor of Perugia, Vittoria Ferdinandi, the President of INFN Antonio Zoccoli, the Director of the European Gravitational Observatory Massimo Carpinelli, and representatives of national and international scientific institutions, including Nobel Prize winner for Physics Takaaki Kajita.
